PART TIME PROJECT AND EVENTS COORDINATOR

OVERVIEW

The role primarily involves coordinating key aspects of proposed and ongoing projects, programs, and events. The successful candidate will exhibit a high level of coordination and communication skills necessary for delivering successful project, programs, and event outcomes between the company, clients and vendors.

This individual possesses excellent people skills, a results-oriented approach to work, well organized, trendy, focused, and an ability to multitask various assignments. 

          RESPONSIBILITY

  • Serve as an assistant to the operations director on the planning, progress evaluation, impact assessment, and other measurement metrics for specific projects, programs and or events.
  • Review of client communications and information management, relating to specific projects, programs, and events as directed by the director of operations.
  • Follow-up on client queries.
  • EXPECTATIONS
  • At least 5 months to 1 year experience in project, event, and or program coordination.
  • Good working knowledge of various social media platforms from a content creation and marketing perspective.
  • Be willing to work a minimum of 15 hours a week within an onsite or hybrid work arrangement.
  • Some basic real-world experience in communications, operations, and or marketing space will be a plus.

     SKILLS

      Excellent communicator (written and verbal)

      Competent at utilizing the entire suite of MS Office applications, with an emphasis on Excel, Word, Project Management, and Power Point. Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with an emphasis on           prompting, and generative AI, Social media wiz, Good organizational, networking, and people skills. 

    

      QUALIFICATIONS

       A Bachelors (or candidates working towards a Bachelors or Associates), in: Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Advertising, Management, Analytics, Administration, English, Business, Information Technology, or Computer Science (with an interest in Artificial intelligence, SaaS, or programming), will be given preference consideration.
