The TCS Internship program is an 8–12-week program designed to develop emerging young leaders within the IT industry. TCS Interns do more than apply their knowledge, they contribute to authentic technology projects being handled by industry veterans within our TCS business units. Students currently in a computer science or other related IT academic program are given the opportunity be mentored by subject matter experts to gain applicable leadership and technology skills to help jumpstart their career in the IT industry. As a TCS intern, you will utilize your problem solving and critical thinking skills to support sports consulting/business projects, strategic initiatives, data analysis, and software development.
Role - Microsoft Power Platform – Intern
Work Location: Newark, NJ / Dallas, TX
Start Date: As soon as possible (Summer Internship)
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power BI, Power Pages, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
- Experience in custom development using .NET, React js
- Create automated workflows to improve efficiency and streamline business processes.
- Optimize existing processes and data flows to ensure they are efficient, non-redundant, and systematic.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand their challenges.
- Translate business needs into technical solutions, ensuring robust and scalable implementations.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of developed solutions to ensure quality and reliability.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for implemented solutions, including troubleshooting issues and implementing enhancements.
- Document solutions and workflows clearly to facilitate knowledge sharing and support organizational continuity.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform.
- Strong understanding of automation principles and best practices when developing solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on process optimization and efficiency improvements.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented
