Job description - Controls Engineer.

Overview
This is a full-time on-site role located in Colleyville, TX. for a Controls Engineer. The Controls Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex control systems for warehouse and manufacturing automation including multi-axis cnc machines. We are looking for a self-starter that can make a positive impact from day one on the job. The qualifications/requirements listed below are not all encompassing and are not negotiable, you must have them.

Responsibilities
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline.
Must have proven experience in designing and implementing automation solutions in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in IT Systems and Networks.
Must have 3 or more years experience in testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting material handling and manufacturing control systems.
Must have 3 or more years experience with Allen Bradley hardware/software.
Must have experience 3 or more years designing electrical panels.
Must have experience creating electrical schematics.
Experience with Fanuc and/or Kuka robot platforms.
AMR experience is a plus.
Must be able to generate budgetary proposals/estimates for controls systems based off sitting in on round table discussions of new projects, machines, and/or site surveys of potential projects.
Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work in a team environment with other engineers and technical professionals.
Develop new technical ideas from proof-of-concept to finished product.
Design training material or manuals as it relates to controls.
Responsible for ongoing testing and code development of new products. Travel to factories to support the manufacturing challenges.
Support commissioning/product launch.
Travel to customer sites and trade shows.
Some weekend work is required.
Stay up to date on technology. Always be looking for unique solutions/ideas to automation challenges.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
