OVERVIEW: We are seeking a hands-on IT Intern to support our internal users with day-to-day technical issues. The ideal candidate should have basic technical knowledge. You’ll assist with password resets, setting up printers, resolving basic hardware/software issues, and providing general helpdesk support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respond to helpdesk tickets and direct user requests
- Reset passwords and unlock user accounts
- Set up and troubleshoot office printers and scanners
- Install and configure software and basic hardware
- Assist with onboarding/offboarding IT tasks (e.g., setting up new user accounts)
- Help maintain inventory of IT equipment
- Document solutions and technical procedures
- Perform other related duties as necessary.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Currently pursuing a degree or certification in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, printers, and networking
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to learn and solve problems independently
EDUCATION:
- Experience with Active Directory or Microsoft 365 admin tools
- Previous helpdesk or IT support experience (school or part-time jobs)
