Job Title: Aerospace/Mechanical Design Engineer Intern
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Aerospace/mechanical Engineering intern to research and design for future capabilities of our repair services. The ideal intern will learn how to create comprehensive capability packages, organizing tooling both in quantum and in our shop, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and design efforts to enhance our fuel and hydraulic unit capabilities.
- Develop and document complete capability packages for internal and external use.
- Organize and manage tooling resources, ensuring efficient workflows in both quantum and physical shop environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement design changes and improve operational processes.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements to inform innovative solutions.
Qualifications:
- In School to get a Bachelor’s degree in aerospace/mechanical engineering or related field.
- Experience in aerospace repair stations, particularly with fuel and hydraulic systems, is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) and engineering tools.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
