Associate Engineer

Summary:  This position reports to the Sr. Manufacturing Engineer and is responsible for assisting the engineering department in various areas of both production and R&D. In each project the associate engineer will work with a cross functional team to ensure that the end solution meets the company quality policies, customer requirements and manufacturing standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in the creation / modification of engineering drawings, product labels and other production documents.
• Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods through manufacturing studies.
• Modify / create Bill of Materials for new and existing products.
• Create work and manufacturing instructions for products / processes.
• Assist with the design and development of manufacturing tools / jigs.

Education/Experience or Equivalent:

• Proficient in CAD - Solid Works, AutoCAD
• Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator is preferred.
• Must have good communication skills, proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Good Computer Skills and organization.
