Engineering Internship

Applicant must be fluent in Korean and English

 

Next Era has been designing heavy equipment for concrete placement since 2015 in Palm City, Florida. Our current project is a telescopic conveyor mounted to the rear of a heavy-duty truck which conveys concrete to a radius of about 110 feet. We are currently manufacturing our first unit in Chungbuk, Korea and are looking for a technically minded engineering translator to help with communication between ourselves, our prime manufacturer, and our suppliers in Korea.

 

Next Era is offering a unique, hands-on internship for a motivated engineering student (or recent graduate) to help oversee the manufacturing of our first unit. Our ideal candidate would be a young mechanical engineer with enthusiasm for heavy equipment, welding, hydraulics, manufacturing, etc. who is fluent in both English and Korean. Any experience in SolidWorks, drafting, welding, structural analysis would be greatly valued.

 

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • Engineering student or recent graduate (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field)
  • Conversational to fluent in Korean (essential for factory communication)
  • SolidWorks experience
  • Experience or coursework in any of the following is a plus:
    • Drafting / technical drawing
    • Welding / fabrication
    • Structural analysis
    • Manufacturing processes
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Interest in heavy equipment or innovative construction technologies
