Software Development Co-op, Fall 2025

We are looking for a motivated Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Applied Mathematics major to join our team as a full-time Co-op for Fall 2025 (August through December).  This is a software development position with a focus on engineering subjects. Candidate must be able to offer at least two co-op rotations and work on-premises in Fairlawn, Ohio over the next two years. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Application programming in Microsoft.NET technologies, including C# and VB.NET
  • Applying engineering and software development concepts to real-world solutions
  • Desktop and device management and troubleshooting
  • Learning new technologies
  • Quality assurance testing, documentation, and other support activities as necessary

Requirements

  • Currently attending an accredited college or university
  • Major in Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or MIS
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Basic understanding of fundamentals of Object-Oriented Software Development.
  • Attention to detail and task-oriented
  • Ability to learn and work in a self-directed manner
  • Wish to return to ECG for multiple co-op sessions
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work full-time 40 hours per week during the work term on premises
