Engineering Co-op- Fall 2025
The co-op will be assigned various design or continuous improvement projects for a plastics manufacturing process in Aurora, OH. The manufacturing process may include plastic corrugated extrusion, injection molding, assembly operations, robotics, vision systems, and PLC's project work. The ability to successfully execute expected results will require an understanding of mechanical and process engineering principles, good manufacturing practices, good communication skills, good organizational skills, critical thinking and problem solving skills, and an ability to work well in a team environment. The candidate may also be required to perform additional special assignments as may be requested by the Engineering Manager. A presentation to our management group of the projects and work the co-op completed will be required at the end of the semester. The Co-op will report to the Engineering Manager and work with cross-functional staff of Engineering, Production, Quality, Tool & Die, and Maintenance
