Paint Engineering Intern-Spring 2022

This internship is expected to start around January 10, 2022 and conclude on April 8, 2022.  

Intern Job Responsibilities:
  • Understands the overall concept of the company, including the brand, customer, product goals, and all other aspects of service.
  • Accepts designated, business-focus projects to research, propose ideas and solutions, and present final project during the internship.
  • Works with engineering team to plan and execute equipment, trials, and processes
  • Analyzes quality and process data to drive process optimization.
  • Collaborates with production team to identify and resolve improvement items in operations.
  • Acquires understanding of equipment and processes that contribute to paint operations.
  • Engages with vendors and contractors to plan and troubleshoot quality, material, and inventory problems.
  • Actively participates in building and sustaining safe and environmentally friendly work practices.
  • Provide suggestions to management for improving internal processes.
  • Learns and becomes proficient on internal software systems.
  • Assists in creating reports.

Requirements
We look for leaders with strong academic results who have 1-2 semsters before graduating with a BS or MS in Industrial, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent degree.
 
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
Student in 3rd or 4th year of college OR Graduate Student
