The Team
The Professional Services team is comprised of financial modelers, data analysts, and product experts who help clients realize the full value of Empyrean’s software. Through consulting, implementation services, and training, the team partners closely with financial institutions to support successful adoption and long‑term use of Empyrean’s solutions.
Responsibilities
- Implement Empyrean’s budgeting and planning solutions for financial institutions of varying size and complexity
- Train clients on both functional and technical aspects of Empyrean’s products
- Advise clients on best practices related to:
- Net interest margin forecasting
- Non‑interest income and expense modeling
- Capital expenditure and payroll planning
- Serve as a liaison between Empyrean’s product management team and the user community, providing feedback and insights
- Follow all applicable company policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Ensure customer and sensitive data is transmitted only through approved channels
- Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive customer data in accordance with company policies and controls
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline
- Experience in banking, budgeting, or financial planning and analysis (FP&A)
- Strong understanding of:
- Bank balance sheets
- Loan payment calculations
- Accounting principles and financial statements
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience working with large datasets
- Strong attention to detail, with solid planning and organizational skills
- Must be currently authorized to work in The United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with bank FP&A or asset‑liability management (ALM) software
- Graduate degree in accounting or finance
- Knowledge of Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP)
- Experience with business intelligence or reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Understanding of fixed‑income mathematics
