Senior Full Stack Developer

A mission-driven technology organization delivering large-scale digital platforms is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to build and enhance high-impact web applications. This role focuses on developing scalable backend systems and modern frontend experiences while contributing to meaningful public-sector digital transformation initiatives.

Role:
🔹 Develop and maintain full stack applications using Ruby on Rails and React
🔹 Build robust backend services, APIs, and database integrations
🔹 Lead system design, analysis, and implementation of new features
🔹 Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory standards
🔹 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and timelines
🔹 Mentor developers and promote best engineering practices
🔹 Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies
🔹 Oversee integration testing and ensure system reliability.

Requirements:
🔹 Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of experience (or 8+ years with Master’s)
🔹 Strong expertise in Ruby on Rails and React
🔹 Experience with RESTful and/or SOAP APIs and backend integrations
🔹 Familiarity with tools like Git, Jira, Confluence, and MS Project
🔹 Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms
🔹 Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies
🔹 Experience with Sidekiq, JSON controllers, and API documentation (Swagger)
🔹 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
🔹 Ability to work independently in a remote environment
🔹 Eligibility to work in the U.S. and ability to obtain public trust clearance.
