Position Overview
CLC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern interested in gaining hands-on experience in sales, marketing, and executive support. This internship offers exposure to the healthcare education market, direct experience with lead development, and the opportunity to collaborate with senior leadership—including the CEO—on meaningful projects.
This role is ideal for students or early-career individuals exploring careers in sales, business development, marketing, or administrative leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Inside Sales Support: Lead Follow-Up & Qualification
- Assist with initial outreach to prospective clients from various channels (web inquiries, events, email campaigns, etc.).
- Draft and refine email outreach and voicemail scripts.
- Help assess and pre-qualify leads based on program fit and organizational needs.
- Record outreach activities and lead information in Salesforce.
- Support the scheduling of discovery calls and meetings for the Sales team.
- Success will be measured by timely follow-up and effective coordination with Sales.
Sales & Marketing Collaboration
- Support the Founder & CEO with meeting preparation, proposal formatting, research, and administrative tasks.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Specialist on campaign execution, including content drafting, research, data entry, and documentation of lessons learned.
- Use sales and marketing tools to help prepare internal reports for leadership.
- Offer ideas for improving sales and marketing processes based on observations and data.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills: clear writer, attentive listener, and confident presenter.
- Positive attitude, resilience, and comfort with occasional outreach calls (training provided).
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- High initiative and curiosity—comfortable researching healthcare organizations and identifying potential contacts.
- Interest in sales, business development, marketing, or executive leadership.
- Ability to quickly learn new software tools (Outlook, Salesforce, Sharpspring, Smartsheet).

Internship Type: Part-time internship (10–20 hours/week, flexible)
Location: Hybrid – based in Louisville, KY (40202)
